Save the Date! The Ovarian Cancer National Alliance 10th Anniversary Conference

Khrissy Lupinacci (5 Year Ovarian Cancer Survivor of stage 3 c clear cell) said; “The 2006 Ovarian Cancer National Alliance conference in Washington, DC provided in depth, up-to-date late breaking scientific research and news, educational information, survivor forum, workshops, inspirational and informative speakers, a chance to network with so many wonderful survivors and advocates. I brought back to New York a wealth of information, an abundance of resources, which I’ve shared with our support group members and so many newly diagnosed women. These resources truly serve as a compass to women helping to navigate their Ovarian Cancer journey, empowered. “For me personally, the 2006 OCNA conference in Washington inspired me to do more, it equipped me with an armory of survivor tools, which I refer to as my well-stocked arsenal of hope.” I’m anxiously anticipating the 10th Anniversary conference this July in Washington, looking forward my annual dose of hope and inspiration.

“The OCNA conference is designed to inspire and empower women with Ovarian Cancer to become advocates for their own health. The conference in itself is a powerful and necessary tool for ones journey toward wellness. The OCNA event is focused on the unique needs and issues faced by women diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. The OCNA conference provides a vast wealth of essential Ovarian Cancer education and information; the latest in scientific research and clinical care, treatment options, new treatments, new drugs in the pipeline, educational programming, workshops, networking, inspirational and informative speakers. Many faces, many hearts all with the same missions, goals and dreams.

Who should attend? Patients, survivors, caregivers, family members, friends, all healthcare professionals, clinicians, advocates, women who are at risk, supporters, Ovarian Cancer researchers and scientists, oncology nurses, nurse practitioners, ovarian cancer support and advocacy organizations, genetic counselors and geneticists, gynecologists and women’s health practitioners.
