Second International Symposium on Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer, to be held October 17-19, 2007 at the Hotel Delta Montréal, in Montréal, Canada.
The 2007 Symposium is entitled BRCA: New Frontiers in Research and Practice, and is organized by the Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Foundation, in cooperation with the McGill Program in Cancer Genetics. A series of clinical workshops will provide practical information on a variety of key issues, and there will be special presentations on cutting edge genetic research. A free Public Lecture will explore the psychosocial aspects of being a BRCA gene carrier.
A prestigious faculty of internationally recognized experts from Europe, the United States and Canada will share their knowledge and insight. Invited speakers include Steven Narod, Doug Easton, Alan Ashworth, Lars A. Akslen, Max Wicha, Add Tibben, Judy Garber and Henry Lynch.
